Chestnut Crabapple (Malus sp.) produces a large crabapple, 2″ in diameter, with a nut-like flavor. Can be a pollinator for other apple trees, covers itself with white flowers in spring with crops in the fall, and can tolerate cold in the winter. Bearing Age: 2-3 years after planting, Size at Maturity: 16-18 feet. Bloom Time: Early or mid May. Ripening Time: Annual bearer. Resistant to diseases & pests.
