Bing Cherry (Prunus avium) is a classic large, red sweet and rich flavored cherry. The rounded canopy of Bing cherry trees has long, dark green leaves with serrated edges that turn golden in the fall. Smooth and reddish with corky stripes, the bark is smooth and shiny. Bing cherries have a meaty, deep red-purplish berry with a little seed inside. Great for fresh eating, canning, and preserving. In the spring, fragrant white flowers bloom. Organic Bing Cherries contain Iron, Calcium, Potassium, Vitamin A, Vitamin C. Ripens Midseason. Pollinized by Black Tartarian, Van, Rainier and Lapins. Also, Stella in colder climates. Needs 700 chill hours and hardy in USDA Zones 5-9.
