Beautiful and fragrant downy gray-green evergreen foliage host very intricate lilac blue flowers that can continue blooming until late into the fall. Excellent for attracting butterflies and beneficial insects, it also can make a great tight hedge plant or accent in the garden. Leaves are rich in aromatic oils and are used for many medicinal purposes. Dried stems and flowers are great in dry flower wreathes and boquets. Hardy zone 8b through 1, they are native to the Mediterranean region of north Africa. Very tolerant of poor soils and drought. Our Germander is grown in 4x6" pots.
