These apricots fruit early in the season, even earlier than most fruits in general. These self-fertile trees are considered to be one of the best backyard apricots for warm winter climates. A Gold Kist apricot tree doesn’t have a widespread. At maturity, they usually have a width of around 10 to 20 feet.
