The Rossellino fig is a variety from Tuscany, Italy. Small-medium sized fruits attach well to the tree and thus is known for drying on the tree. The fruit has dark green and purple skin. The fruit has thick skin and berry-like flavor when ripe and sweetens upon drying which makes for an "exceptional dried fruit". Reportedly can grow in humid areas.
