Comice Pear

Late season classic dessert variety has large green with blush  fruits with juicy melting aromatic sweet flesh. One of our favorites. Good keeper that can be kept in fridge and brought out to ripen through much of the winter. The creme de la creme of pears. Originally cultivated in France as "Doyenne du Comice" pears. Hardiness zones 5-9. The Comice trees grow to 18ft (6m.) Ripening time is October. Requires a pollinator. Requires approximately 800 chill hours.
