Desert Green Prickly Pear

A cold hardy forage and vegetable variety from Peter Felker's colleagues breeding program in Argentina. Vigorous growing plants are very productive of low thorn pads. A cross of Opuntia lindheimerii and O. Ficus indica. We obtained this selection from the National Arid Land Plant Genetic Resource Unit (NALPGRU) in Parlier, CA.
