Honey Jar Jujube (Ziziphus jujuba)

Early-ripening variety, earliest of all jujubes. Small tree with compact form. Self-fruitful. Very precocious, young trees quite productive in variety of climates. Does well in containers.

Small to medium round to slightly elongated fruit. Extremely sweet with thin skin. Juiciest of any jujube variety. Sweet yet spicy flavor with apple texture. Excellent fresh eating or dehydrating. Small fruit size compensated by exceptional sweetness and juice content. Very popular variety.

Well adapted to hot/tropical climates and very cold hardy.
