Gynura procumbens,

A wonderful perennial green hardy from zones 9-11. Though not a true spinach "longevity spinach" or "longevity greens", is an edible vine found in China, Southeast Asia, and Africa. This is sprawling beast in the garden producing year round especially in summer, greens are edible raw and cooked. Easily propagate by cuttings so easy to share with your friends. A great addition in a food forest, Longevity Spinach thrives with full sun but can grow in partial shade. Not weedy or invasive but will leave big foot print in your garden if not harvested. Enjoy!
