Mentha x villosa. This spearmint is from Cuba. It is the authentic mint use in making mojitos and it also makes a great seasoning for meats and confections. This strain was brought from Cuba to the US by mojito enthusiast Catherine Nasmith. Mild and warm spearmint flavor not too pungent and not too overly sweet. Aggressive grower! Great for containers.
