Med-large delicious purple-blue oval plum is the most popular prune variety in the US. Freestone fruit is firm yet still juicy with delightful kiwi-green flesh and excellent for eating fresh, canning and drying. Productive trees produce annually and come into bearing at an early age. Originally from Geneva, NY it is self fertile and hardy zones 5-8.
