A super heavy yielding variety from the collection of the late Sherwood Akins of Sibley, Louisiana that is known to produce over 100 pounds of fruit per year. Large high quality red blushed fruit ripens over a short period of time making for easy harvest, and is great for making mayhaw jelly, jams, syrups and wine. Hardy zones 5-9. Conventionally grown 3/8" caliper bare root trees.
