Tecumseh Plum

A very hardy Prunus salicina X americana cross by N E Hansen of South Dakota Stata in 1923. Medium large bright red, round yellow fleshed, juicy, high quality fruit ripens early. Vigorous tree is very productive and one of the best of the northern types for fresh eating. A cross of Shiro and Surprise, it is hardy zones 3-8.
