Vasconcellea x heilbornii
An amazing edible and ornamental houseplant that is hardy to 28° F. It looks just like a squat tropical papaya both in its fruit and its leaves. It grows to 6ft and produces several amazing ten inch long, bright yellow, delicious papaya fruits each year. The fruits are called "champagne fruit" and have an effervescent flavor and are seedless. The plant is self fertile and can only be produce via clones or grafting.
