Sugar Prune Plum

Sugar prune has reddish-purple skin and greenish-yellow flesh that is dense, very rich and sweet. A great fruit fresh or for drying and canning. It has lower chilling requirements than other prune varieties (needs 550 below 45° F) making it the preferred prune variety for milder winter areas. Full sun. Zones 5-9
