Grows easily in medium moisture, well-drained soils in full sun. Bushy, weedy, aromatic, blooms in summer (June-September) of small, 3/4'' daisy-like flowers with white petals and button-like yellow center disks. Drought tolerant, zones 5-8. Tanacetum parthenium. Feverfew is not only beautiful and cheerful, but it is has also been used for its many medicinal properties for a long, long time. Its name comes from the Latin word febrifugia, meaning “fever reducer," and it has also been used to help reduce menstrual cramps and reduce the length of labor.
