Rungia klossii’
A very popular in Papua New Guinea, Mushroom plant is a fast growing and bushy herb. The leaves have a very "mushroomy flavor" and the leaves can be added to dishes to impart a "savory mushroom flavor" to you meal. The bush has beautiful green glossy leaves contain large amounts of iron, vitamin C and beta carbonate. The leaves are crisp with a similarity to spinach and can be eaten raw in tossed in a salad. Hardy to Zone 9, this herb can grow in shade and will do fine in a pot. Great addition to your Food Forest!
