Spanish variety from Mallorca with distinctive variegated characteristics. Small figlets start green-yellow striped, may bear striped wood. Round shape, changes color throughout season from green/yellow stripes to reddish-brown with possible stripe retention when ripe. Cracked appearance on ripe skin. Grows well, entertaining variety to watch develop.

Common self-fertile fig with light red interior, plenty of juice, rich strawberry jam flavor. Medium-sized round figs, skin starts striped then darkens. Yellow neck fading into purple-green striped body. Closed eye. Good productivity. Variegation phenomenon called "rimada" from chimera mutation.

From Spain, Mallorca region. Rimada refers to longitudinal striping pattern. Related to broader Bordissot family but distinguished by variegation. Popular among collectors for unique appearance. Striping can sometimes revert or fade, common characteristic of rimada varieties.
