Later ripening variant of Santa Rosa plum. Vigorous tree. Self-fruitful. Tree characteristics similar to original Santa Rosa.

Medium to large plums with reddish-purple skin. Red-streaked amber flesh. Tart-sweet with rich flavor when fully ripe. Harvest approximately one month after Santa Rosa - mid to late August. Self-fruitful, does not require pollinator. Good pollinizer for other varieties.

Developed as later ripening variant of Luther Burbank's famous 1906 Santa Rosa. Extends plum season approximately one month beyond original Santa Rosa harvest. Particularly valued by home orchardists wanting prolonged harvest period.
