 Brassica oleracea "Chomolia"

This is a more heat tolerant tree kale that is grown in Zimbabwe and many other places.  It produces a copious amount of greenish blue kale/collard type leaf, with numerous branching.  It is easily propagated by cutting similar to the purple tree collard.  Whats unique about this tree kale is it is more tolerant to hot climates and summer conditions than many other perennial kales/collard.  Definitely a rare one to add to your food forest collection.  Cutting was sourced from a grower in Florida. This grower in Florida received their mother plant/cuttings from Cody Cove Farm.  Cold hardiness is not known.

Plant Height: 8inches +

Pot Size: 4inch pot or 4x6 pot depending on type of year

Certified Organic

USDA Hardiness Zone 9-11 (maybe alot colder, but not yet verified)

***Purchase of this plant/tree pays for one tree to be planted in Southern Madagascar to fight desertification and to build food forests
