Pea eggplant (aka turkeyberry) is a small green eggplant used in African and Southeast Asian Cuisine.  Its slightly bitter and can be perennial depending on where it is grown.  Its has been used as a rootstock for eggplant to improve harvest and further perennialize eggplants.  We are experimenting with it this year and offering seedlings up for use as a food source and rootstock
