Bonny Doon Avocado

This is a seedling, discovered growing in Santa Cruz, California. This is a hardy tree and has been said to withstand temperatures down to 25 - 22 degrees Fahrenheit.

This variety produces a medium size fruit with a rich nutty flavor. They ripen about the same time as the Bacon Avocado.

Avocado plants can grow to be 40ft, but are also easily pruned to a desired form.
