Chester Thornless Blackberry (Rubus sp.) is the most cold hardy of the thornless varieties. Chester is very productive of large high quality heat tolerant berries that ripen late in the season. Vigorous semi-erect canes are resistant to cane blight. Considered the most successful blackberry for the northern states. Hardy zones 5-8.
