Tupi Blackberry (Rubus sp.) is the leading blackberry cultivar of Mexico, Tupi is an excellent choice for gardeners in the southern states of the US. Super large berries can be up to 9 grams each and have an excellent flavor with a good acid to sweetness balance. A cross of a Uruguayan blackberry and Comanche, this early to mid-season ripener has stiff and upright thorny canes. Hardy zones 8-11.
