Selected 1989 in collaboration with University of Florida, USDA, and Hartmann's Plants. Released 1989. Semi-evergreen in mild climates with distinctive blue-green foliage. Moderately vigorous, upright, spreading growth habit reaching 4-8 feet. Low chill requirement. Often used as pollinator for other Southern Highbush varieties.

Medium to large, sky blue berries with delightful spicy-sweet flavor. Very large, sweet berries with beautiful blue bloom that persists after picking. Firm texture, excellent quality. Berries ripen early to mid-season (late April-May in South, late June-early July in North).

Primary traits: very large sweet berries, high yields (8-12 lbs at maturity), tolerance to humidity and aridity, excellent cross-pollination capabilities, and persistent berry bloom. Commercial cultivar also excellent for home growers. Pink-tinged flowers provide ornamental value. Suitable for hand harvest, U-Pick, and mechanical harvesting.
