Southern highbush. One of first southern highbush cultivars released in late 1970s by University of Florida. Extensively used as parent for developing other SHB varieties. Requires cross-pollination. Low chill.

Good quality berries, delicate skin and forward flavor. 

Early cultivar from UF/IFAS breeding program. Revolutionary variety allowing blueberry production in low-chill areas. Helped create year-round fresh blueberry supply worldwide. Parent in pedigree of numerous modern Southern Highbush cultivars.
