Western Redbud

The western Redbud Tree also known as the California Redbud is a shrub-like tree that is found in California, Utah, and Arizona. It's often seen most frequently on dry slopes in mountain foothills in the northern, rainier half of its range. The Western Redbud Tree blooms in spring and winter. The thin, shining brown branches are covered with heart-shaped leaves that begin pale green and intensify in color as the season continues. The flowers are usually pink, yellow, or red.
