California Dreaming Che

'California Dreaming' is a Che cultivar sold by England's Orchard and Nursery. This selection is noted for producing larger fruit than most Che cultivars and displays more upright growth habits compared to other varieties.

California Dreaming produces berries that are sweeter than typical Che cultivars and larger than most. The fruit does not produce seeds in the absence of a male pollinator, but fruit size increases if a male tree is present for pollination. Flavor combines the characteristic watermelon-fig notes of Che fruit with enhanced sweetness.
