Beautiful evergreen small tree or large shrub can grow to 15' tall and is native to the Himalayas and China. Has abundant creamy-yellow flowers in the spring followed by attractive red edible fruit. Fruit is very showy against the green foliage which slowly turns to a beautiful reddish-purple color as winter approaches. Thrives in partial shade to full sun and is hardy down to about 15 degrees F.
