Shenshare Fig

The Shenshare fig is a smyrna type fig. This means that this fig requires pollinaiton. This fig originates from the Syrian town of Shinshar.  The fruits of this fig are fairly oblate and large, reddish in color. The pulp is sweet with a slight berry flavor, very juicy and jammy.
