Originated from a planting in eastern Tennessee and reputed to be a very heavy producer of good quality fruit. Proven as a good variety for the southeastern warm and humid area of the US. Introduced by Hidden Springs Nursery in Cookeville, TN. Hardiness zones 5-9.
