Chocolate Mint

Chocolate mint leaves have a delightful minty chocolate flavor, much like a peppermint patty. This mint spreads quickly but dies back in winter only to go strong in spring summer and fall. Lushest growth occurs in moist soil in partial shade. Crush fresh leaves into water add to tea or coffee. You can also dry leaves for flavoring desserts. A must have for your garden or food forest!
