Cuban Oregano/Mexican Mint

Plectranthus amboinicus

An easy grower with succlent type leaves that smells and tastes like a strong oregano. A lovely plant with thick fuzzy leaves, grayish green and finely haired, with a saw toothed edge. Grows great in a container or outside in a frost free area, it is not hardy like most mints. The plant emits a strong menthol scent when the leaves are crushed. Provide well-draining soil.
