Euthemia Occidentalis, also known as Western Goldenrod is a native, deciduous flowering perennial plant. It's often found at elevation below 5,000 ft, growing along rivers, streams, marshes, and other wetlands. The Western Goldenrod provides nectar for 25 bee species.
It is also a larval host for 48 caterpillar species and provides habitat for various insect species.
