Green to yellow-skinned fig with deep red/strawberry pulp, originated Madeira Island, Portugal. Resembles Black Madeira in leaf shape, neck, and flavor intensity but light green exterior. Medium-sized fruit with longish neck, cracked skin when ripe, predominantly three-lobed leaves. Highly productive bearer, late ripening (late August-October).

Common self-fertile fig producing medium-sized fruits (50-60g) with yellow-green skin and vibrant red jammy flesh. Rich berry flavor described as strawberry jam, jolly rancher, or concentrated fig deliciousness. Dense, thick pulp similar to Coll de Damas. Closed to moderately closed eye. Both breba and main crop, though main crop emphasis.

From Madeira Island, Portugal, introduced to US through various sources including Baud nursery in France. Not same as standard "White Adriatic" despite similar characteristics. Found in DC metro area Maryland and distributed through US fig community. Considered top-tier variety, worth growing alongside other Adriatic-type figs.
