Rescue Pear

Strikingly beautiful large yellow pears with bright orange-red blush have delicious smooth, buttery, juicy and sweet flesh of excellent quality. Great for fresh eating, drying and canning. Ripens mid-summer a little after Bartlett. Upright vigorous trees are productive and disease resistant. Discovered in Canada by Knox Nomura. Hardiness zones 5-9.
