Zaiger Genetics, patented USPP6763, first Pluot® introduced 1988. One of original plum-apricot selections from Zaiger.

Medium-sized fruit, greenish-maroon mottled skin (grey-green with red speckling), firm bright red/Bordeaux flesh, 17° Brix. Sweet, rich flavor, intensely sweet taste. Ripens June (two weeks before Santa Rosa) to early July. Can be difficult to set, subject to cracking.

Taste test winner, first Pluot® released by Floyd Zaiger from Modesto, California. Backcross of Burbank's plumcot with Mariposa plum (Improved Satsuma). One of original three Pluot introductions (Flavor Queen, Flavor King, Flavor Supreme). Excellent fresh eating and dehydrating.
