Mariposa Plum

Large purple red over green plum has juicy and sweet, thick, tender, freestone, blood red flesh. Great fresh or cooked and holds well for up to 3 weeks on the tree. Shapely vigorous tree needs another Japanese plum for pollination. Mid season ripening. Requires 300 chill hours, hardy through zones 4-9.
