Hardy, perennial walking onion also known as Tree Onion. This walking onion forms small topset bulbs that cause that fall over and easily root so the onion spreads or walks thru your garden year after year. The greens can be used in place of green onions and the the base can be used in place of onion. An amazingly hardy and fun food forest plant perfect for a large pot or your backyard garden. 1 plant turns into many plants after the 1st year, so share with your friends! Hardy in zones 3–9.
