A fundraiser and fun-raiser celebrating the fruit grown at the Planting Justice Mother Farm in El Sobrante.

Join the Planting Justice Mother Farm team at our 4-acre orchard and food forest in El Sobrante at 10:30am on Saturday, July 19 for a farm tour and tasting of our early summer fruit!

The 6-member PJ Mother Farm team nurtures two trees / bushes of each variety to grow scion and cutting wood for propagation at our East Oakland Nursery, so we're able to grow over 1,000 varieties of fruit on limited land, and the fruit from our pairs is a bonus to share with our community and distribute to neighbors in need.
Check out more about the PJ Mother Farm here.

We'll start at 10:30am with a short tour of the PJ Mother Farm–a unique urban farm with fab views of Mt. Tam–then we'll enjoy the many varieties of mulberry, peach, plum, apricot, and cherry (if available), as well as baked good featuring our fruit, and we’ll also have farm jams and possibly some farm honey available for sale!

The event is limited to 35 people, and is on a sliding scale to assist access and opportunity to support our work.

Directions and tasting information will be emailed to you after registration.
