Asian Pears

Asian Pears are a real treat. Crisp and juicy sweet fruits are abundantly produced at an early age and ripen from august until November. Late varieties store well into winter. Trees have lustrous large leaves that turn a beautiful fall color. Grows to 15-18 ft. but can be kept smaller through pruning. Likes a sunny spot and well-drained soil. Best pollinated with another Asian Pear or an early flowering European variety (such as Bartlett) can be used. On Pyrus OHxF 97 Rootstock. Zone 4-9
