Crataegus opaca cultivar. Very productive small deciduous tree. Later blooming and later ripening than most mayhaw varieties.

Largest fruit of all mayhaws. Large dark red fruit with pink flesh, very fragrant. High quality for jams and jellies. Excellent fruit quality with extended harvest season due to late ripening.

Selected cultivar developed for exceptional fruit size, a true breakthrough in mayhaw breeding. Part of Louisiana/Gulf Coast mayhaw improvement programs. Native to mayhaw's traditional range in bottomlands and wetlands of Deep South (Louisiana, Texas, Arkansas, Georgia, Florida).
