Beautiful purple and green striped skin (name refers to both white/blanca and black/negra colors). Round medium-sized figs without long neck, vigorous productive tree. Lignifies wood quickly, relatively cold tolerant. 5-lobed, tri-lobed, or single-lobed leaves. Ripens relatively early (mid-August).

Common self-fertile fig, medium-sized (37-45g) urceolate-shaped with symmetrical form. Green-purple skin developing coppery-purple with distinctive reticular cracking when ripe, striping may fade at full ripeness. Deep red pulp with intense berry flavor, sweet with good juice. Thin skin, closed eye provides rain resistance. Small achenes in great quantity. Ripens early-mid season.

From Mallorca, Spain, from Montserrat Pons collection. Relatively new to US fig community, gaining popularity for striking appearance and excellent flavor. Described as one of most beautiful figs due to color-changing during ripening process. Moderate resistance to rain, very prone to detachment, little transport resistance. Grows well containers or ground.
