D’Anjou (Beurre D’Anjou) Pear

A late ripening pear of major commercial significance in the US said to be 34% of the pear acreage grown. Round-oblong green fruit stores well and is delicious, tender, sweet, juicy and aromatic when ripe. Strong growing, hardy and productive tree originated in 19^th century France. Requires approximately 800 chill hours, hard through zones 5-9. Certified organic.
