Medium to large fruits with green skin and yellow-orange flesh. Prolonged harvest: early picked fruit is firm, yet juicy-sweet to honey flavor depending on how long you let it ripen. Left to hang, fruit turns greenish yellow with honey-like orange flesh. Upright tree sets heavy crops once established. Harvest mid-July to late August. Blooms Early March- April. Needs 400 chill hours or less. The emerald pluot requires a pollinizer like the Grenade Pluot or the Santa Rosa Plum. This tree requires 1/2 day to full sun and well-drained soil. the tree grows up to 15ft-20ft tall. Yields 50+lbs.
