Lacatan Banana

Lakatan bananas, also spelled Lacatan, are diploid banana cultivars from the Philippines. They are from the Cavendish sub-group and produce a similar fruit in shape/texture/flavor. Produce good sized bunches with height 9+ft. This banana fruits quicker than most varieties in 8-12 month cycles and is USDA Hardy 9-11 (though still needs good micro-climate to fruit). The banana can be brought in during the winter if grown in a large pot.

Pot size is 4x6in pot, and the plant is between 6-8inch tall+ depending on season (plants are 9+inches tall from summer on).
