Northern highbush released by USDA 1993. Moderately vigorous. Produces 7 flowers per bud with among lowest flower bud set percentages. Less cold-hardy than some varieties - fruiting buds may suffer freeze damage in colder inland areas. Relatively high chilling requirement among southern highbush types, flowers late enough to escape freezes most years.

Large, firm, sweet, aromatic berries with excellent flavor. Stores exceptionally well.

Consistently high-performing variety. Productively competitive with rabbiteye varieties despite being southern highbush. Top-rated in California San Joaquin Valley taste tests (2012). Popular in both northern and southern growing regions. Widely planted for premium fresh market.
