Maillette Lavender

Maillette (Pronounced "may-ette) is a lavender commonly grown in France since the 1950's. This lavender is usually grown for the essential oils it produces for use in perfume making. Has been said to be sensitive to wind, so plant in a protected location or protect from wind for the first 2 or 3 years as it establishes, then it should be strong enough to handle all elements.
