Pink Flowered Ume (Prunus mume)

Beautiful single pink Ume variety has prolific blooms and fruit that is up to 1" in diameter with tasty flesh and a red blush over orange skin. Blooms early in January and February giving a gorgeous show when most trees are still completely dormant. Very productive fruit is good for making Umeboshi pickled plums and other preserves. This low chill variety is hardy zones 6a-9b.
