Quarteira Velha Fig

The Quarteira Velha Fig  is one of two strains of Quarteira. This fig is originally from a tree dating back to 1918. The fruit from this tree is fairly large with yellow skin and some faint purple stripes and is pretty syrupy and sweet with a slight berry flavor.
